More calendar detail on idle home page... help..

Ive just switched to using a Nokia E65 from a Windows Mobile 6 pocketPC and am seriously missing an application I used to use called PocketBreeze. Basically I rely heavily on my calendar and PocketBreeze gave me a very nice few of my calendar on the Today screen of PocketPC which is the equivelent Active Standby apps on the Nokia. I could view a months worth of events just by scrolling down on my Today screen.

Now with the E65 I have the idle plugin for my calendar on but it only shows the next event. It doesn't show me any days in the future or ALL up coming events for the current day.

Is there a way of making this so, i.e. is there a 3rd party application that will enable this functionality...

All advise welcome..

Thanks
Mark

p.s. New to the nokia smartphone...

If you scroll to the calendar on active standby and click it, you'll have all the details. You can switch different views in the calendar with * key.

I know that clicking on it takes you to the calendar but what I was after was a summary screen on the home screen that gives more than just the next appointment.

Surely this being symbian there must be applications out there that can do this?

Not sure if there's any other 3rd party app to view more than a day on the standby screen.

Nokia has not yet provided the codes (SDK - Software Development Kit) for developers to create Symbian OS applications for standby screen.
We hope that this option will be available in the next SDK release by Nokia later this year.

Is there a way to stop tasks being shown in the calendar day view as these are listed before general calendar entries and sometimes push calendar entries of the screen.

Any ideas

I'd say you can try Papyrus, a 3rd party calendar software. It can be customized in any mode you like.
