Phone wont start

I have had my N95 for about 4 weeks now and it’s been working well. However, when I switched on this morning it stuck at the startup screen (before the animation of the hands kicked in). The only way to get it to switch off was to take the battery out, although I have now left the phone on to see if it will reboot of its own accord after a period of time. The battery is fully charged so that’s not the problem. Any ideas, anyone? Or will it have to go back for repair? (That’ll be a bugger since I bought it in the US and live in Mexico!)

this does seem like a very tricky situation, if the device isnt even getting past the initial white screen then it looks like you're going to have to take it back to a retailer. You can try doing a hard reset, you will lose anything already on the device, but it's better than your other option, try doing this

hold down *, 3, and Green (answer) key, then with a spare finger press the power button, then keep them all down until the device boots, this should perform a hard reset and hopefully right your wrongs 😊

Thanks. I was wondering how one does a hard reset at start-up! I will try it now to see if it rights the wrongs.
