Proper way to edit contacts

Hello.

Is there a _proper_ way to edit contacts from PC?
Right now, the only good way to edit them is with phone only. PC Suite doesn't help me very much. It can't even show all the entries properly. And forget about contact groups.
Right now, I found only extremely expensive software called Oxygen Phone Manager. Good too, though. But those regular license renews sound like too much for just editing contacts 😞

Any suggestions?
At first, I took hours of cursing just to get CSV file with contacts to phone. At it still doesn't look good. For example, when adding group members, list shows old last names for contacts that doesn't have last name anymore.

Plus, there are some special features that seems like only phone can do. For example, changing item labels.
Also, phone allows me add several numbers to contact, without need to call them specifically "home" or "work" numbers. If only some PC application can edit all that... Sadly, no...

I hope that in some say Nokia provides good contact editor for it's Symbian phones. I see no problem in that, because Nokia already develops good applications for free.
But, until then, is there some way to edit contacts like I want to?

You may buy an Individual license for Oxygen Phone Manager for Symbian OS phones for 39,95 Euro. In this license you can read, edit and write contacts back to phone. If you need to export and import your data in/from files (txt, CSV, Excel, RTF, etc.), you should order either Export/Import option or Business license.
You need not renew your license each year. It is up to you to decide either to use an old version or renew your license and get a new one.

You are right Ketas! I also looking for a FAST and GOOD way to edit contacts of my Nokia phones, and not only contacts... Some years ago I purchased Oxygen Phone Manager because I wasn't happy to use PC Suite. Oxygen software resolved some problems, but it is too SLOW so after the first year I returned to use PC Suite again.

Now I am still looking for a FAST and GOOD software to manage my Nokia phone content with my PC... 😊

Same here. I searched and tried everything. No results.
PC Suite ir totally unusable, since you have to open each contact individually, and even then it sometimes doesn't save the changes. Frustrating.

So far the only software to do it more or less nicely is that Oxygen PM. But it's way, way too overpriced. C'mon, 40 euros? For basically one time use? (I just need to edit old numbers, new will be created correctly). For 20 eur i would think about it. Not 40.
