how do i use barcode Scanner softwere?
i think you are using QR code scanner to scan barcode
its pretty lame anyway that software... you need to hold very still to get anything... its also best with the 2D barcodes....
Quickmark is much better QR code scanner for N80.
I am using (just say's barcode reader) the icon is a black and while 3d pic of barcode.:icon4:
it's crud. but it scanned the numbers. wow.! oh well for  free guess it ok.thanks
The bar code scanner from nokia works pretty good. You have to work out the right distance to hold the phone, but it's far more effective if you hold it about a foot away from the code. You don't need to fill the screen up, move the camera further away and you'll see better results. Some codes schemes work better than others, particularly the matrix codes since they generally have an easily recognizable sync pattern that the phone can lock on to and orient itself from.
Is there any scanner for Linear barcodes? for N96?

Hi
I have found one good resource for Barcode scanners please refer the link.
I was running 3.6 which was stable, but updated to 3.8, which is very nice...the auto-focus plugin is a must. Haven't tried the regular barcode scanner, as it's only available on a trial basis without paying...and as far as I know, it'd be useless unless the barcode was in an accessible database...
