Delete Database

i own nokia 9300i
i have more then 4 databases in my contacts which are empty and i want to delete them, when i use ctrl+d the system says that i'm not able to delete the application mybe used or read only, so i'm trying to find a way to delete these databases . please help

Did you really create 4+ database? If so, where are you trying to delete them from? It sounds like you created shortcuts on the desktop or in folders and that you are trying to delete the shortcuts.

If you really did create multiple contact databases you must have saved them under different file names.

If so, you will need to use the File Manager application to find and delete them.

In File Manager, select Menu->Tools->Settings->Show System Directory->Yes.

This should enable you to find the files that you created and delete them.

i did create 4 contact data bases; for deffrent contacts like Friends and family and others. no i have to delete them because there are empty and no need for them. from the file manger i did not find them, is there any other way to delete them?

I don't know of any way except the file manager.

You should find them in:

Communicator\System\Data

and they should have extensions of ".cdb".

The defaults Contacts database file is "Contacts.cdb"

Remember that you won't see the System directories unless you changes your File Manager settings as I indicated in my first reply.
