Hi all,
I just tried to flash my N80 with NSU and it went 90% and went failed on me.
NOW my phone is dead.. Blank screen, does NOT power on, and etc.
I've read you can save the DEAD N80 with Phoenix 2007 software.
IF anyone has this software that they could send to me.. I would greatly appreciate it.
PM me.
Thanks for all the help.:icon14:

I do not know where you are located. I can tell you that I had the same problem and I found CbCharlie. Trust me, he will fix it. He is also a great guy, he is in NY though. If you can get it to him, he will fix it. He also returned mine with the updated software. He is a genius.
I Pmed him. i live in Atlanta, Georgia. Does he charge?

You should be hearing from him soon, he is very responsive. I think the fee is $25.00 but I included a few extra $ for return shipping. For me it was worth it as it was my first experience with a Symbian phone and I really wanted to learn this system.
I had bought the phone in New York but since it was an European model, Nokia USA would not touch it. My options would have been to wait till I go to Italy in September. I was too impatient.
If there is a Nokia service center in Atlanta and you have a USA code then they would do for free if still under warranty.

Trust me, if it can be fixed, Charlie will fix it. Let me know how it works out. I am getting a bluetooth adapter today, so hopefully I won't have to bother with this pop port again. This is a big problem for all Nokia phones using the pop port.
UPDATE: phone has been delievered. So far, CbCharlie seems like a GREAT guy with a GREAT customer service. :icon14:
UPDATE: Good news.. I just received an e-mail frin CbCharlie saying the phone is alive!!!😮 hopefully I will be receiving the phone tomorrow.. WEEEE😊

The guy is good. Nokia should be paying him for helping people due to their badly designed phones. If possible try to get a bluetooth adapter so you can do all the syncing etc. Try to avoid that pop port as much as possible.
Maybe we can exchange ideas and problems in the future. I am so happy for you.

😊 sounds good man. I already had the Bluetooth adaptor on my phone prior to my phone messing up.. stupid me just decided to go with the USB cable thinking that it will be more reliable and faster. I'm NEVER EVER USING USB CABLE AGAIN....😡
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
CRAP 😞, I am another customer now.
Bloody USB cable, arghhhh
I've sent my phone to Charlie yesterday and now I am starting to search for blue tooth adapter.
Cheers 😊
If it was an Ebay I would have left A++++++++++++++ feedback. Charlie gave life to my phone and I'm never using that bloody cable to update firmware.
Thanks heaps man
Just reporting that I added support for the N95, E61, and N73 on cellularguy.net ! Thanks to everybody for using my services!
This is to let everyone know what great customer service Charlie provides in fixing my dead/bricked N80... Speedy Service and Excellent Communication.

Unfortunately I had to register to post some feedback for Charlie. What can I saw, awesome! Fixed my bricked N80 within hours of receiving it - probably less but it was fixed and mailed back to me within a day.
Thanks a bunch Charlie!
Charlie is the man. I heard all the good feedback about his work, but to be honest I was still a bit skeptical whether or not he was going to be able to fix my N80. He received it, fixed it and dropped my phone off at the post office all within a few hours! Really great service, I would definitely recommend him, but I hope I don't need to use him again! (at least for this N80)
I sent in my dead N73 last week, just recieved notice that its fixed and being sent back. Really great service, and I don't have to buy a new phone!
Just sent my NOKIA N96 that went dead when trying to update via NSU.......counting on you CHARLIE..
thanks
