Im new to the n95 and was wondering if you can make calls over voip to a landline for free?? i search around but only found other stuff about voip. thanks

Oh yeah and my provider is T-mobile US

Truphone has a promotion at the moment. Of course your phone should be connected to a free wireless lan to take advantage of your request of "free". If you use data over your service provider (for 3G/gprs/whatever it is called in the US), then of course this will be charged at your service provider tarriff rate. I had a 40minute conversation and it was 5meg of data (using the log function to see my WLAN usage), so do the maths there.

that would be free (err ISP charge excluded) 😊

To the original poster - you're probably best off getting skype-out or something similar.
This will allow you to make calls to any number anywhere via skype on your phone (truphone or fring).
These calls won't be free but low cost. Check the skype-out charges.

Skype calls to other skype capable devices will be free to you.
If the person you call has a call-forwarding service they may be charged, but thats their business 😊

Check out truphone though, free calls till the end of this year to any landline on the planet (almost 😊)

alight i will thanks a bunch. Also do you guys know where its best to get a unlocked(voip telephony) at the best price.
