N95 not syncing past months calendar entries

4 replies · 3,119 views · Started 28 August 2007

My N95 syncs with my mac but it seems to delete from the phone the previous months calendar details retaining the info on ical. So for example on the n95 I have August appointments but if I look at July there is nothing there. When we move to September Aug will be deleted from the phone.

I cannot get isync to sync the previouse months calendar entries. Have I missed something?

Cheers in advance.

Not necessarily much help, but in the Windows version, PC Suite, there's an option to set how far in the past and future entires are synchronised tot he phone.

I think it is designed to remove older entries that have been synchronised to save space on the phone.

When you launch the Synchronize app within PC Suite, click Advanced Settings and you should be able to set the range of dates which are synchronised with the calendar - the default is -1 week to +1 month

In iSync you can set when calendar events in the past are ignored. The choice is one month, two weeks, one week or one day. There isn't an option for ALLl past events.
This is an Apple application issue rather than iSync plug-in. (In the plug-in we can choose the default, but not extend the range.

So little we can do

Here are screen shots of where to find the settings.
