Auto Keypad lock on slider close

All phones I have had, with a slider, auto lock the keypad when you close the slider thing. I can't seem to find the option anywhere on my Z8.

I haven't seen an option for this feature. On mine, when the slider is closed, the keyboard locks by default.

Mine doesn't do it :/

Wondered if anyone knew how to enable it?

lock and unlock keypad
To lock your keypad with the slider closed
press and hold O until the power menu is
displayed. Select Lock keypad.
To unlock your keypad open the slider or
press any key and select Yes.
To lock your keypad with the slider open
press and hold * then select Yes.
To unlock your keypad press any key and
select Yes.

I wanted to know if there was a way to have it automatically lock the keypad when you close the slider.

Mine also does it automatically, as soon as the screen times out it locks. THe screen timeout is done on the screen saver setting. Ive set mine to 15 seconds.

As said above, the keypad locks when the screen times out (i.e. whrn the screensaver kicks in, or when the screen goes blank). The only way to adjust the keylock is to adjust the screen saver timeout.

I'd really like to see something like "instant-lock-on-slider-close" in the future.. I miss that feature, too..

I would like to ask if somebody knows how to make motorola z8 to "instant-lock-on-slider-close"?
Maby some software can do it?
Auto keylock works only if i go first to main screen.
I find it disturbing.

If anyone can help me, please?
I want to find soft like Handy Keylock but Handy does not support Z8.
Maby You know a tool software with keylock control?
