Connection to Internet with GPRS

I saw in all forums that many people have problem to connect to GPRS.
Like for me it's the same problem using GPRS (I leave in France an use Orange).

I never succeed to connect to internet with GPRS to Fotodock, WebViewer, YFTP, PhotoExpress. EXCEPT with Doris Browser,

SO what is the difference between this two types of software ?

The difference could be that Fotodock, WebViewer, YFTP, PhotoExpress, use a proxy server , and Doris Browser use a direct connection to internet.

So that's means that GPRS could not work with proxy server , but run well with a direct connection to internet ???

Are you agree with that ? It's will be the answere to all my problem of GPRS connection to internet.

I think the problem must be with port.
Your operator must have disabled all other ports,
and just left the http connection open.
