I was using my home wifi network last night to watch youtube vids in the real player on my N95...no problems
Today, away from home i can get to youtube alright and locate a clip, but when Realplayer attempts to open it i get an error message
"unable to connect"
Yes i've told it which connection to use
I'm using 3uk connection, and i know thats working as thats how i'm connecting to youtube in the first place!
Getting very frustrated by this, can anyone help
Well i will try to connect and play a youtube file tonight on my home wifi network and see if it works, perhaps this will help narrow down the problem
I tried again last night on the home wifi network and it worked great, went to youtube, picked clip, connected straight away and watched the clip fine.
BUT
As soon as i move away from my network and use my 3UK connection Realplayer reports "unable to connect"😡
Can anybody help?
As far as i knew, Three (UK) has a 'walled-garden' internet service... eg you can only access content that they provide. When i used to be on 3 i couldnt access any websites other than there crap.
Can you access youtube website in browser when connecting through 3?
I have just got off phone to three customer service....getting better all the time.
Bloke talked me through restoring factory settings (not hard reset) and it's been working great ever since, seems connection settings had got screwed up along the way...
Three not walled, can do what i like
