Get sis file out of the phone for backup

I don't know if that was discussed before or not, is there a way to extract a sis file out of an installed application, I want to have a sis file backup for the maps version that comes with V12 ... or any other application, so when new firmware release then I can uninstall some applications and install the version I like. Another question here, is there a way to rollback the firmware ?. :con?

I know you cant rollback firmware to a lower version, you can reinstall the same version due to an error or crash etc. But not sure about the re-extracting a sis file from an already installed program, sure would be a handy tool though 😊

justnew this is the way to be just new forever.
no way to downgrade (unless you use some expensive hardware).
no way to "extract" pre-installed apps in symbian OS 9.x.

use the fu..g search.
