Great site...quick question
I've been jumping onto someones WLAN in my street. The 95 has defined the access point to get on it. Is it possible for the owner of the WLAN to aquire my passwords for the sites i use while using his WLAN.

Be aware that if you are in the Uk you are breaking the law by jumping in on someone else�s WLAN, even if they have not password protected their connection. People are being arrested for doing this, stupid though it may seem!

Its hard for anyone to even know you are on there WIFI.
You need some propper gear to try and trace you too.

If you are using SSL when you enter names and passwords, then it will be very difficult for the owner of the WLAN to decode your passwords.
However, if the website login pages use normal http (and not https) then a network sniffer on the owners WLAN/router will allow him to watch everything you do and collect all you passwords.
As already mentioned, what you are doing is technically illegal in numerous countries.
And it's not very hard for anyone to know that you are using their WLAN. Most routers have an "connected clients" option as well as functionality to enable logging (...which logs connection attempts, both sucessful and unsucessful).
The password bit is a bit more tricky though so I wouldn't worry much about that.
