Hi I was just wounding what casing dose everyone use on there n95? Ive so far herd a lot of people using lather but I just use the Crystal Casing from 02 whats best out there by everyones standards? 😊

Capdase Silicone "Skin" casing.

Trackless and the best case I have had for it. (more expensive than a silicone case with tracks)

Crystal cases suck. You'd be lucky to get a week with it and not crack it one way or another.

Ive just got a crystal case, Im quite happy with it.
It protects my phone from scratches, still manages to show off its well-designed body, and doesnt suffer from that used condom look those crappy rubber things have 😊

How long does your crystal case last? 😊 😊

I'd be suprised if you get beyond one month with one without cracking.. 😊

Agreed. Just a week mine crack. Using crystal casing, it give a uneasy sense/sound when pressing the keys on front due to the back part of the casing . Sliding up and down also tend to be problem as the edges stuck.

But, I still using crystal casing to protect the front part of the phone together with the original N95 leather casing. Sort of double protection and it barely noticeable.

My phone spends most of its life in my pocket or on a desk, I make a point of not knocking the thing so I dont expect to see the case cracking any time soon.
For me the case is simply protection against scratches from the various keys and lighters my phone has to share its space with.

On the off chance that the case does crack it costs just under 3 from play.com with free delivery.
If I keep on top of my budgeting I think Ill be able to afford a new case every month 😉

No doubt.. Crystal case does look the best, but even at 3 quid a pop, times it by 12-18 a year you might go through is a considerable amount of dosh (50 quid a year to protect a phone?)

By the time I went through my fourth Crystal case and one silicone tracked case, I figured that the capdase was a worthy investment.. Spent about 10 pounds delivered on it and have been using it for 3 months now.. 😊

No cracking, no scratching.. 😊 Yes, it looks like a condom.. but the phone is protected from unprotected calls, right? 😊

true i think i've had mine for about a week nnow and it dose look scratched but only when the phones off, its still doing its job though. but wher do you get your case from i can't say i've ever herd of it before.

I thought i read on a previous post or blog that the Crystal case manufacturer had decided to redesign the crystal case for N95. i.e change the plastic type and mould to reduce thin areas....

Can anyone confirm or deny .....

Hey,

I have been through 3 crystal cases now, I like the look of them but their constant breaking was a problem.
However the one I have fitted now is lasting a lot longer, it does feel a little more plyable than the others eg. it can be twisted slightly without any breakages.

More time will tell but I seriously hope they do or have improved the weak areas as that is all that lets them down.
