Hi guys, im just wondering, if i debrand my Vodafone N95, will i loose the Live functionality? its just that i use the weather feature every day to plan my fishing trips, and if i do loose it, is there a way to reinstall Live?
many thanks in advance.
Yes, but you can use the free MWeather.

No this is wrong
You can still use Vodafone live once you have debranded your handset.
After debranding the phone recognises your sim and automatically adds the correct access points, allowing you to use Vodafone live as per normal.
That's true in that you can use the Vodafone Live service to access the Internet, but does Vodafone add any extra programs into the firmware, like a weather applet?
thank you for the reply's guys,
it would be most excellent if i can still use Live,
the way i use it is to click to live then hit the weather tab, i use it for the barometer reading and wind direction, to be honest i am not so bother if i actually lost live, its just the weather that i need so if there was an alternative program or something that would give me wind direction, pressure, temperature that i could use for free, that would also be cool.
but for sure if i debrand my phone have it recognise my sim and it automatically adds the correct access points that would be fine, im just worried in case i mess it up

Even if the phone doesn't pick up the settings from the SIM for some reason you can go to the Vodafone website and have the settings texted to your phone. If they haven't got the N95 listed, use the N80.
Or you can go to the Nokia website and do the same, but I'd use Vodafone in preference.
