i have a n73 over here in ireland and when i check my messages it has the little * beside the inbox. but there has been no message tone or message icon for a while. its quite frustrating when ppl have been texting..i have tried switching it off and all but no avail. i've heard of one thing active mail causing the problem but i cant find it on my fone :S:S:S:S
