Does anyone know what the latest version of Opera for UIQ 3 is? How do I find out what version I have on a Sony Ericsson P1i? Will this software update automatically through the Sony Update Service?
What is the latest Opera browser for UIQ 3?
The P1 has Opera bundled into the Symbian OS. To determine what version you have.. open the browser and use the Web pull down menu, select Settings.
At the bottom of that sub menu select About. That should give you the version currently installed.. which will be 8.6x
If you go to the Opera website, u'll have seen that for all UIQ3 fones Opera is preinstalled and there is no download available.
My guess is.. any Opera updates will come via firmware updates as you rightly suggest.
