Im new to these forums but wonder if anyone could help.
I have a Sony Ericsson P990i. I have had it about 4 months and am generally quite happy with it.
I do a full backup of my phone about once a month, and have done 3 backups with no problems.
Recently when I try and do a backup it gets to about 60% done then tells me that the backup has been cancelled by the device. :con?
The report says:
[INDENT] Backup Status
Fail
Remarks
3rd party applications
3rd party applications - Cancelled by device
u8rnqdygpc9rmqsd1fwmamr9br8- - Device not responding[/INDENT]
The phone then reboots.
One of the main reasons for me wanting to do a backup at the moment is that I want to update the phone software, but dont want to loose the information on my phone (especially the SMS's)
If I can find a way of retrieving the SMS's off the phone I will then copy the rest of the info off and reformat and then upgrade.
Any advice??
