Help! can't get rid of message on start up of N73

I have an N73 on Orange. It crashed yesterday while I was on a call...

I now get a message everytime I switch my phone on saying ' New voice message on line 1'

I've cleared out my answerphone, but the message still appears every time....

Anyone got any ideas? (I don't have a line 2 or anything...)

Well known problem on Orange phones. Here is a solution found on another site :-

1. Put your SIM into another phone.
2. While the SIM is in the other phone leave yourself a voicemail.
3. Delete the voicemail on the other phone.
4. Put the SIM card back in your N73.

On my own phone I simply replaced the sim card.
