Does anyone know were i can can find free apps for my N95? especially the remote control one as the kids r always losing the b****y thing!!!😊
Free apps??
they have some here i don't know what one your talking about but just look under software and freeware, theres some good ones floating about.
Anyone else tried Core Player yet? (from series60v3.com)
I have switched to using Core Player v1.1.1 on my N95. It works fine on my phone.
Here are the pros & cons:
Pros:
-You directly choose folders that you want to play.
-The built-in music player would not show some songs. For example, my laptop would tell me that I have 200 songs on my memory card, but the music player would only display 130. This was the reason why I switched to using Core Player 😊
-Core Player has a 10 band equalizer, the built-in music player has 8.
-It can play video. Note: I am not sure on this, because I never tried it on the N95. However, I was using Core Player on my Imate Jamin, and it did handle videos really well.
-You don't have to refresh the music library every time you add new songs to your memory card, something that I found quite annoying in the built-in music player
Cons:
-You cannot use the volume keys on the side.
-You cannot use the multimedia keys when u open the phone in landscape mode.
-If you press the red button when you are in Core Player (to get to the standby screen), N95 closes down Core Player. Instead, you have to hold the Symbian key for a second in order to be able to switch between apps.
-It doesnt have a spectrum analyzer like the built-in music player, but seriously do you guys use that feature anyways ?:P
I think I got everything😊. But seriously, I have my N95 for around a month now, and have switched to Core Player for around a week and I don't regret it for a sec. The only thing that is a slight turn-off is that the volume keys on the side don't work with Core Player.
You probably already know but ill mention it anyway....
When you watch a film you can alter the volume with the joypad (up/down)
I like the software but found the volume very, very quiet. Until I found the above by accident
Nice bit of software
