SMS Text Messages sent just stay as 'Waiting' in Outbox

Hi guys,
I'm just having a problem with my N95.
Whenever I send a text message, it automatically places the message into the outbox (as you'd expect) but the status always displays as 'waiting'. It only sends when I manually go to the outbox and send the message again that the message is actually sent.
This is quite frustrating and I cannot seem to work out a fix for it.

The Message Centre number is correct.
I am running what I believe is the latest software (V. 12.0.013).
After owning the phone for just under 5 months, this is the first time the problem is occuring. I have not installed any software or apps in the last two months.
I have also tried a soft reset but to no avail.

If anyone can help me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Are you in a good signal coverage area? If the signal drops at the precise moment the N95 tries to send it will fail and will retry later. I don't know if there's a limit to the number of retries but when I take the train home from work, there's an incredible lack of T-Mobile (UK) signal between Preston and Bolton apart from a few small areas where you have to be quick to get it sent!

Nope, nothing to do with the signal. I guess I'm gonna have to try a hard rest. I've only installed Opera. Will my firmware stay at the current one or will it revert to the original?

Thanks.

Well after initially being worried about doing a hard reset, I did one last night and after restoring settings from my memory card, everything's working great!

Thanks for everyone's help!
