Screen recording software for N95?

7 replies · 4,809 views · Started 09 September 2007

Hi, I've just got a N95, bad timing I know (just before I heard about the 8GB model!).

I know there are screen capture or screenshot apps for the N95, but I'm looking for a bit more than that.

Does anyone know please if I can get screen recording or screencasting software for the N95, like CamStudio or Snagit etc for the PC?

Am willing to pay a reasonable price for the program.

Many thanks
Imp.

When I read 'screen recording software', I thought you wanted an app to record the hissing emitted by the N95 screen.
Of course, it's really cosmic background radiation you're hearing, you know. 😃

Of course, you could use PhoneScreen and then record on your PC.

Geraner thanks for your reply, I've in fact already got screenshot software, but I need something to record a "video" effectively of what you do on the phone.

Pheonix, thanks very much for the suggestion, I shall give PhoneScreen a try, it sounds just the thing!

don't forget the TV-out feature of the N95, you could always hook up your phone to your entertainment system and record it onto your PVR?? 😉 (VHS if your old-school)

wouldn't require any extra software or resources on your handset, so would be great for recording gaming or another memory intensive app!!!

It works great! 😊

I don't quite understand how to take a screenshot with that. Can you please explain?

A program to make screenshots on your N95. a screen recording software that is can be used on your n95, i think you may try to search on some phone site software downloads...
