I am using a Nokia e61i phone and am Happy with the performance and features, but when I try to install any 3rd party softwares downloaded from various sites(applications , themes etc.,) I get an error message - file not supported or Certificate error. Please clarify--- I am really fed up of this.

What exactly are you trying to download? And how are you trying to download it?
Is it a java app?
Can U tell whether Nokia series 60 V3 or S60, s80 softwares can be installed in E61 i? It should as this is one of the feature of the mobile; it is built on s60 platform.
E61i is a S0 v3 so search for software which will meet this requirement.
