Nokia multimedia Memory Cards

After spending 850 on the 9210 when it first came out (on the first day), i was very very pissed off about the crap memory space and that equally crap 16mb card they supplied with it.

Since buying it about 6'ish months ago, I have brought 8 Nokia DTS-64MB memory cards at 120 each., due to the number of video clips i've got.

These come in a 100% crap plastic case which is meant to protect them. What a load of s**t this case is as after about 5-6 times opening and closing it it does not stay closed once you slide the cover to close it!

I have nearly lost 2 cards and was very lucky that i noticed them fall out! At 120 a card I think those money grabbing prats at Nokia should sort it out.

I would like to know if anyone has got any information where i could buy a case to store these cards in?

Also if you know where i can get cheaper Nokia DTS-64MB cards from, PLEASE!

Thanks

Don't buy the Nokia ones, www.valuemedia.co.uk are selling 64MB MMCs for 45 each, that's where I got mine. As for the plastic housings the one that came with mine had a flip lid, not that it seems like it'll stop me losing it though.

I haven't come a corss any specific MMC card cases, but I think there maybe SSD cards.

and with all that money your saving why not contribute to the Rafe 9210 fund!

Rafe

I'm sure that if you can afford to buy a Nokia 9210 for 850 you do not need donations

SEE YA

Now this is a MEGA BARGIN;
Integral Multi media card MMC 64Mb 5 year warranty, twin pack 66.38

Yes thats 4 of these cards for the price of one of the Nokia DTS-64 Memory Cards!

What a 100% Rip-Off Nokia!

They charge you silly prices for there phones and then to top it all off they RIP You off for the acccessories!

But then again they do make the best mobile phones in the world!

The donations are because the poor guy has run this website for ages but still doesn't have a 9210, nor can he afford one.

/me sends a 5er, but due to his disorganisation, it's an essay on Electro-Magnetic Sheilding in the envelope instead....

Serious!? I had no idea, yet he speaks as someone who has experience.

Rafe, do you have a PayPal account? I'll slip you a fiver!

hmmm the old 9110 had a MNC holder with a cool "nokia" word over it. though it stores only two cards with the styroform inside, removing it can hold up to 10 cards...
