I have just bought a 990 after being a treo user for some time. The interface is very different and I'm still trying to find my way around it.
How do I sort my notes by date? They seem to be arranged in the order of input date.
In outlook I have my notes and tasks sorted into categories. However, after syncing with the 990, these categories are not transferred. How do I rectify this?
The treo has hard buttons to take you straight to tasks or notes or calendar or phone book. On the 990 I need to press 3 buttons to get where I want to. Is there a way to set it up to access the 4 main functions with one press / click?
I used avantgo on the treo. Does this work with the 990 or do I have to use RSS feeds? How does this work? What about epocrates?
I don't like in ear earphones and prefer to use my sennheisers. Where do I gat an adaptor that will accept the 3.5mm jack?

I have bought a Sony Ericsson P990i . I think it is a very good phone but i have a problem when i use it. when i Run a PDF file like IVOR HORTON`s Visual C++.PDF, it show a Message that say this PDF is damaged and General(Unspecified) Error... But when i Run BIBLE_3DS_Max.PDF, it works well.
I try to Run another PDFs on My phone, but every PDF i Run get me a Error General(Unspecified) Error... I cannot understand ...!!!
Please Help me
My Brother has NOKIA N71 and has installed PDF+ 1.67, He run every PDF and they Work Well for him

I don't think that's possible.

P990 unfortunately can't sync categories. (No SE phone I know of can do this.) I really miss that feature too.

Look up Long Cuts and Gdesk software. The original software can only set up shortcuts in the shortcuts meny (the blue and yellow boxes icon).

I think Sony Ericsson's own HPM-70 is a great headset. It's got an adaptor also for 3.5mm headphones.
How come you changed a Treo for a P990?
I can't answer other questions as I don't use those functions, but headphone adapters are readily available.

I have encountered an unusual problem. When using the P990 on my local network in Zim, it seems fairly stable. However, when I used an O2 pay as you go card in the UK the phone kept resetting and hanging. It was impossible to use. I recall that with my treo, using a similar O2 line, it would also reset, but only after sending SMS messages. What's the explanation? Would PAYG lines from different networks be more stable?
