After firmware 4.0726.2.0.1 on N73, the phone will not pair with my Holux GPS ???, this most be a firmware bug, i has work for almost 1 year now.

It is not a bug as such. Nokia, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to include support for old versions of bluetooth in the v4 firmware, so I'm afraid your only solution is to buy a new GPS unit that conforms to Bluetooth version 2.
