not entirely the thing your are after, but perhaps worth giving a try, beetagg.com. How to use with business cards? Create a vCard, place it on
the server and generate a beetagg for it, then detect that beetagg with BeeTagg reader on the phone (to get the reader go to get.beetagg.com) and save
that vCard in your phone book!
