Got a new handset from Orange today as my last one the speaker went funny so I couldn't hear anyone without putting it on loudspeaker, great turnaround time too, rang them yesterday, got it today at 7pm! Anyway onto my point...
Its all changed.
I'm pretty sure this can all be undone by debranding the thing again and upgrading the firmware, so if that is the case just say so:redface:
Its now got a home screen, which looks awful & I can't even select the whole theme I have downloaded, it keeps the homescreens picture in the middle of it, looks very odd, I am guessing this is Orange's V11.
I'm going on a bit here, and this question has prob been asked before, so sorry! but just need to know will it get rid of all this shite Orange seem to have put on???

Mate i had the same problem - i had an orange and when i first got it, it had all the icons down the left hand side and it looked pretty good on the standby screen.
Then my phone had to be returned because the fone was being stupid and not working properly and then when i got a new one all the icons were at the top and there was no way to change it in the slightest!!
I was slightly annoyed at first but thought ahh well because i cant change it back or find a way to.
I would suggest after you have had the phone for a bit though, changing the phones product code and upgrading to the v12.0.013 firmware as its much much better than the v11 that you can get to on orange. They wont allow v12 just yet you see.
If you need help doing that just ask on here - thats how i found out how to change the code and it was so simple its untrue 😉

I think I must of had it the other way round to you, cause the icons were down the side on my 2nd hand set, with an Orange type screen (homescreen) when usually on my first hand set they were at the top (although I moved them so they wern't there at all)
I did change my first handset to V12 and it was fine, worked well, and certainly will be doing it again!
Think I figured a few things out just by playing around with the second handset, anyway, thanks:icon14:

I personally actually prefered the "down the left" style, but if it means being no an inferior firmware - im sure ill cope without it hehe.
Ooops, it got rid of all my contacts too, I guess I stored them on the phone, not the sim🙄
Think I have them backed up after I did the firmware change on my last N95.
Hopefully there wasn't anything too dodgy on my phone, as the txts will be saved too😉
