Hi I had the n95 for a few months, just wanted to know if there are any free games around for this phone? Also I'm not sure how the GPS works for this phone. I wanted to use this phone as a tom tom. Is there a need to purchase a tom tom software? If so where can I get it for free?

There are plenty of free games around if you look for them, it just depends what you're after. Quake is my current fave (though technically not free, just the "engine" to run it on the N95 is free. You still need the Quake files, which are commercial/shareware) As always, you get what you pays for quality wise. Want a good game, going to have to pay for it.

So, in one comment you acknowledge you need to buy the software yet in the next you ask where you can get it for free? No comment. 😡
Some free games I like:
Frozen Bubble (Puzzle Bubble clone)

STris2 (Tetris Clone)

FreeFlight (Flight Simulator)

RTM? No, you don't need TomTom software, but need to pay Nokia if you want to use the built in app for turn-by-turn navigation. You should download the maps for your area using a PC and the software you got with the N95.
My favourite at the mo: vbag
It's a gameboy advance emulator which lets you play your GBA games on your N95, its wicked, especially sonic 😃
