saving or downloading files from browser to n95

How can I save any file, be it a .tif or any extension to the n95 from a web browser?

Tried built in browser and opera mini but it says it's "not supported" when attempted.

Not sure why your having problems but the built in browser downloads and saves files to the N95 without problems. It could be you're trying to open a .tiff graphic, which wouldn't be supported by the built in viewer, hence your error message. Please provide a bit more detail of what you're trying to save and we'll see if we can help.

actually, i had some real troubles saving SIS files (or any other file type which is not recognized by the phone example CAB files), web browser recognizes them and tries to install, no way to save them to the disk!

You can do this with Opera mobile but NOT opera mini as that is java based and thus can't access the file system of the phone. The inbuilt browser doesn't do it either.
