how do i know if my n73 is the music edition?
is all black and when i do the *#0000# i get

V 3.07.4.1.0.1
19-01-2007
RM-133
Nokia N73 (30.01)

wouldnt it say something like Nokia N73ME or something like that?

the reasion i ask i that the the sound is very quiet and poor when playing mp3's, i changed from the standard headset to the nokia mutimedia one (HS-20, AD-41 ) and there is no change its still very quiet and poor. is it normaly like this?

thanks

and use some task manager to see if music player loads at startup...if it does that means that it is a me...

ah, mine has that "music note" key, but when i press it it doesnt go straght to music player it goes to like a dimond setup where up on the joystick is the radio, left is the web, right is the gallery and center is music player.

my muisc player doesnt have the spectrum, album art, stereo widening and loudness just a equalizer

would it need upodating from the nokia website then?

i just tryed to update using the nokia software updater and it said that i am running the up to date version -
V 3.07.4.1.0.1

i am going to try the link above

ok i followed the details on that link and everything is now working, the new media player is loads better and the sound is loads better on loud speaker but my headset dont work anymore. every time i plug it in the phone tells me that "the enhancement is not supported" the same goes for when i plug my hands free car kit in and the headset that came with the phone. it was all working fine before the update.

any ideas?
