What channels do you get, as i subscribe to sky i can get it for free, so i guess it's worth a go. just wondered what other people thought of it

Thanks

as ours (NZ) then its not "live" but a series of packaged programmes (Sports, News etc) sitting on a server. They just cycle through until the provider updates the content with a new one.

Over-all I wasn't that impressed. I'd prefer streamed Live TV or get Nokia to put a Digital TV receiver into the next model.

This technically possible BUT you will require a TV Licence. thats why most Streamed TV or TV shows are not live but pre-recorded ones.

I was told by vodafone uk that "its sky tv on your mobile phone"... "Same content as TV".

He was talking crap... It was not the same at all. It was cycled content and when there was anything good on real tv, I would get a screen saying content temporarily unavailable.

Also, it will only work if you have 3G coverage.

I've got it via T-Mobile and i thinks its pretty good. Its about 30secs behind live tv, but was watching the twenty20 world cup games while waiting for the wife from work, great to pass the time if waiting at a station, but not something you'd want to watch a lot on. Good value for 5, but you do need 3G signal

I forgot .. you guys (brits) still have that Licence thing

Not an issue in the rest of the world .. especially Japan where TV capable handsets have been available for a few years now .. the Aquos with a rotating screen is a really popular.

That form wouldn't be a bad place to go for the next incarnation of the N95..😊
