E90 WLAN problems‎
I have problems connecting my E90 to my home WLAN or any other WLAN.‎
The E90 find and detect the WLAN and create an access point, but when try to go ‎online I get a message (no gateway response) ‎
I could not find any place to define the gateway on the E90‎
My home router is standard setup (192.168.1.1) ‎
Can any one help please?‎
can u access internet no problem through that wlan on laptop or home pc? Need to find out if its address conflict between your modem and w-router or a fault with E90.
Is this sorted now?
I also have problems with the WLAN on the E90 with latest software, I had a E61 before and setup the same settings and it work very well, now on my E90 when I'm even close to the router it connects but when a walk away it disconnects, or when I'm a few meters away from it and try to connect because an application asks for it
then it says "Cannot connect, invalid preset WPA key." or "Unable to connect, WPA Authentication failed", something like that because my phone is in Dutch.
And I'm sure that my WPA key is correct, it typed it 10times or more already!
Also I adjusted (in the advanced setting) the power saver on disabled so normally it gives a 10% more radius but not with me...
My laptop works well with my wifi router, when I boot it up it connects automatically with it.
Do you maybe have a solution?

I got the wifi to work, but it is much wurse than my E61.
It seems though that the quality of the wifi chip in the E90 is not as good as in the E61.
Also when I'm connected to the router for a whole day, the battery needs a recharge in the evening.
Got my E90 5or6days now and I had to charge it already 4times :-s
When will they develop a 1800 mAh or better battery like HP did with their Ipaq hx4700 (3600mAh battery was an optional battery) and that is great!

My phone is in spanish so the names of the menu may be diferent but something similar..
The problem is that E90 can not find DNS server, to fix this go "setup - connections - acces point" and setup your Wifi conection manually in "advanced settings" in "Settings of IPv4"

I was having problems connecting to my home wireless network..Kept get cannot connect error although i had put the password key in. The thing is the password for my router is in WEP not WPA. If you just search for a network with the desktop wireless finder it seems to only let you enter a WPA key.
I have now sorted it after a bit of research.....
Go to in menu.... Tools/SettingsConnection/Access points/options(Within) /New access point.
Then define your wireless details from there and save.(calling it something you obviously will recognise). Then try and connect and define this as your connection. Mine is now working lightning fast and has not crashed once. Hope this helps..
because my battery is draining so fast with that power saving disabled, I enabled it again and the stability and strenght is the same I've noticed.
Only when I'm on the same level as the router it is ok, when I go upstairs, it is really hard to connect
