Because of a change of job, I have recently moved from synching with server based Outlook (using Mail4Exchange) to local synch with a laptop (using a USB cable). Everything works fine for calendar, contacts etc, but it appears the functionality to synch the Inbox is greyed out and not available to Series 60, so this applies to N95 and E90 as well. This is a nuisance as it means if you have POP3 email server from which the mail is cleared when it is downloaded to a laptop, you can't get the email from either the POP3 server or via synching with the laptop. Which means you can't go away for a few days and work on the email using the phone.
Has anybody found a way around this, or know of a 3rd party add-in to fix the problem?
