hellooo my first thread 😊

got my self the lovely N95

was trying to install the england maps but when it "verifying storage medium" it says its been disconnected and you must try again :con? 😮

i am using nokia map loader 1.2 and have the latest firmware on my pone

A few things to try:

Have you used the application MAPS on you're phone a few times before trying to install the maps?

If you have a memory card and a card reader simply make a folder on your card and call it 'PRIVATE' and try downloading to the card reader.

When your phone is caonnected choose mass storage.

hi, ive tried choosing mass storage and i have used MAPs app a few times!! :con?

you think i should try a different usb connection on my pc perhaps??

Better, is to take out your memory-card, put it in the SD-adapter, and put it in a card-reader connected to your PC . . .

That's the way, I downloaded & installed yesterday whole Europe on my memory-card!

ahh only thing is i have not got a card reader lol

you think it could be a issue with the memory card or phone??

Hi Ladoo, my advice to you is to buy a card reader. It is so much easier to put your maps on it. In fact if you download direct to your phone it will take about 2/3 hours to download but with the card reader it took me about 45 min at tops. I find that if I drag and drop my applications to the card I have complete control over the apps. i can send them via bluetooth to any other phone. So think about in vesting in one, there not expensive.
