Sorry GhostDog I forgot all about your question in the news section. Here is a screenshot of the program with my eye. This is the ABSOLUTE best that the software can with the best settings possible.

I think that PhotoSMS is not too good...

the conversion don't make a DITHERED IMAGE... only
flat B&W...

I actually get much better results using ImageReady (the app that came with Photoshop).. that app was created thinking to make easy gif images with any number of colours (to use on the web), if you play a little with that app you can get it very nice SMS pics.. using 2 colors fixed palette (B&W) with 100% dither palette, and using brightnedd and Levels controls to get the best look.

I know that PhotoSMS is only the first version.. and is working on the 7650 not on a PC 😃 , but may be in the next realease the DITHER option must be added, is the most important thing to make nice B&W images.

i'll keep using ImageReady by now...

That is not bad,"not bad" shouldn't be the best that an app can do.
I hope the developers will make some improvements soon.
