hi - can anyone help!?
I have an E65. I'm with 3 in Australia.
I am having loads of trouble using the phone as a modem, which is a pain as it was one of my reasons for going with 3 (due to X-series). It connects fine to the pc and synchronises perfectly, it's just the modem connection that is stuffed.
I can get it to work via USB connection but it takes on average 30 minutes of mucking around. When I use the One Touch Access it tells me error messages. The usual error connection I get is: One Touch Access failed to establish a network connection. Please check the connection settings.
what I found is that if I uninstall the phone (in Device MAnager), uninstall or unpair the phone within pc suite, shut down PC Suite and various combinations of this sort of thing, and reboot the phone and computer a few times, then randomly after say 30 minutes of this, I can connect. However the connection is often only good for 5-10 minutes, after which it freezes.
By Bluetooth I used to have the same problems on my old notebook. I've upgraded notebook and I can't connect by bluetooth at all.
Sometimes by Bluetooth I get a different error message: "Failed to establish a network connection!" When I look this up in Help it says "Dial-up Networking must be enabled for your phone in the Bluetooth wireless technology software. " so I wonder if I need a new Bluetooth driver (I'm using XP SP2 default)
can anyone PLEASE help!!! any settings I can change, conflicts I can avoid, etc?
thanks
Simon

Not sure about 3 in Oz but in the UK my e61 as a modem stopped working because 3 now have a mobile broadband tarriff and you have to have another contract to get data connection.
