Nokia 5500 Japan

Hi Folks,
I bought Nokia 5500 when i was in India and now i have been moved to Japan temporarily for a year. Can i use Nokia 5500 in Japan using the Softbank service provider?

No one ever tried this or no one knows about this??

Hi Folks,
Sorry for the delay!!!
I have tried using 5500 with Softbank sim card and it doesnt work out :icon13:
It always tells that the phone is offline.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions abt this please get back.
