Texts on single line?

I know this was a function on the N73, but on my N95 I can't seem to get my texts and emails listed in single lines. Any ideas?

Because that's how I want it. At the moment when I go into my texts I can see 4 texts per page, whereas this way I get about 3x more because they are listed in single lines rather than name and first line of text.

Can somebody let me know if this can be done as it was a function on the N73 but I cannot find it on the N95.
