Help - Cant access dialled numbers or call log!!

4 replies · 2,367 views · Started 28 September 2007

hi guys.. has anyone had this problem before? I cant seem to access my call logs! when i press the green soft key, the screen just flickers and it gets back to the standy screen!

when i try to access it via the app shortcut (menu>apps>log), i can see the main screen and i can access call duration, packet data and recent calls. but within recent calls, if i try any of those options (missed/received/dialled), it just doesnt open up!! its sooo frustrating cuz i need the number of someone that rang me earlier!

i thought it could be a bug, so i uninstalled the latest app i got (Conversation), but that didnt help at all. even numerous restarts did not work. any advice or help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

p.s. my firmware: 12.0.0.013. any other info required?

Backup your contacts and any other things you want to keep.

Try a soft reset and if that does not work, try a hard reset.

You can find how to do those upon this forum.

Hope that helps.

yeah ultimately i know i'll have to do that.. but i need that number pretty badly. is there any other way around this last resort?? its so weird... sometimes it says its collecting data but it doesnt do anything there... sigh..

Just to add my 2 cents have you made sure that there are no programs running in the background (Keep hold of menu button) sumtimes your ram might be too clogged could be nuthin!!!

Kind Regards

yeah... nothing's running in the background. cold reboot a fair few times and the problem is still there.

its such an odd problem... ive never seen this happen before or read about it in forums.. i think its inevitable that i have to reset the phone.. 😞
