Anyone elses n95 light up randomly?

Mine does it when the screensaver kicks in or when the keypad locks (I use AutoLock)

Little irritating I agree, but I'm getting used to it!

thats the thing, mine does it just when its been sitting there for age doing noting

it will suddenly just light up, so i assume i have a txt, but no no, its just decided to light itself up:con?

Just thinking what connections you might have running at the time...

They are all off.

It doesn't do it loads but usually once a day, just wondering why it would.

When you loss signal and then regain it, it lights up I believe? Or my old nokia did.

When the battery is low and you have warning tones switched off it appears like its just randomly lighting up the screen.

i thought it was something to do with the inside of it but my mate just says his has done it too and he is on v11 not v12, weird

Probably not, but its not delivery reports is it? If they are turned on, they can come up and the alert goes very quick from the screen, although it does make it light up.

Mine does it periodically. I thought it might be something to do with searching for a signal as I have mine set on dual mode in a weak 3G area.

It likes to light up and make warning tones for 'Charging' and 'Full Battery' - although those are obviously irrelevant if it's not plugged in. But I rather wish it would keep quiet about those; I can tell from the battery indicator if it's charging or full already, thanks.

They all cause it to light up. Or if you have any 3rd party apps (like an automatic profile switcher) this'll cause it to light up, too..

My phone has also lost the theme I have loaded a couple of times and goes to the default one. Has anyone else got this??

i got rid of all my downloaded themes as they slow my n95 right down
put it back to the purple one and its super quick now compared to what it was

If you are talking about the keyboard lights then I thought that mine were going on and off randomly but I worked out why mine is doing it...

The keyboard lights are light sensitive... cover up the little lens BESIDE the front camara lens and the keyboard lights come on...

Mine were going on and off as shadow was going across the face of the phone.

i can relate to your frustration ... i have the same issue and cant understand why the light goes on occisionally. no txt is received or anything. it just sits there happily and decides to light up.

When the battery indicator loses one bar, the display lights up. I think it's supposed to be like that (at least that's how my 6230i was configured).
