Formatting N95/Memory Card?

1 replies · 2,517 views · Started 28 September 2007

Ok so my phone is messing up. Frequent Crashes, very Frequent.
Im probably to blame for that as I did a restore using the PC Suite.

I will format my N95 and 2gig Memory Card again but How do I backup the Contacts, Messages and Applications so I can restore them again without using the PC Suite unless its ok to Restore using it now?

Pls can some 1 advise me the best method?

If u connect ur phone with PC Suite you can open up contacts and messages through windows explorer. Just like any file you can cut, copy and paste these to and from your hard drive with ease.
As for applications thats a different ball game, and I can't be so helpful. The last time I used PC Suite backup, it backed up some applications/games but not all. But I keep a copy of all JAR or SISX files on my computer so I can easily reinstall them.
