HELP: N73 memory problem

1 replies · 9,584 views · Started 28 September 2007

i have this recurring problem in my n73. after some time, it'll say that my phone memory is low and that i'll have to delete some data. when i check the memory stat, free memory is only around 9mb (i dont have anything on phone memory except contacts). when i check the breakdown, it only adds up to about 10mb (used memory). where did the other 23mb go?!!

i hard formatted my phone. and it works fine for a few days. but messes up again after a while.

what should i do?

i also have this game i cant delete.

it's starting to get annoying.

The correct answer is nothing... All S60 phones are like that, with bad memory management and with low RAM. You can limit all background applications, install memory management software, but the problem still the same. Only real solution is reboot the phone. Seems, that only E61/61i and E90 on these days have better memory behavior, but all the others, are like N73.
