Is 6GB micro SDHC compatible?

Hi, been had mine N95 for a while now n am desperate to get a memory card after listening to you nice ppl saying that a 4 gb SDHC sandisk can run on it even with 11.0.026 firmware.

the question is now that as 8gb is coming out, even 6gb seems cheap at the mo, and am itching to get my hands on one of these, but will it run on my t-mobile 11.0.026 n95?

i've realized that if i upgrate mine now to 12.0 firmware than it might be more than likely but it's unlikely t-mobile would do so for a while and although i know it's pretty straight forward to diy it, but i've never done such thing with a mobile before and not as confident to do so.

would somebody please help me, many thanks😊

I'm pretty sure it is compatible. V11 is compatible with microSDHC, as my T-Mobile phone on V11 has a 4GB microSDHC card.

i have a SanDisk 6gb on my N95 with firmware 12.0.013 and it works like a charm.

hey yea it's after i read the comment in the other post about 4gb on v11 that i'm determined to get a card now, but whether to get a 4gb now o wait for v12 n get 6gb is killing me, do u know anybody that actually tested a 6gb on v11?

cheers

Yeah i have it works fine but i wouldnt suggest trying to format it on the phone as mine just kept goin forever untill i had to take the battery out to reboot corrupting the card, luckily i was able to fix it on the pc.

I upgraded to 12 yesterday via the Nokia Upgrader Software. I'm on T-Mobile UK. It appears that T-Mobile have released the patch officially.

i thought it had steps on the nokia site before you download the new firmware of how to install onto your phone.

I purchased the 6GB memory card last week but am having trouble puting more than 4GB on it. Any ideas?

I have a Vodafone branded phone (Questions about firmware issues?)

The N95 has to be running FirmWare over V12 to support a 6GB card on network branded phones. As soon as a firmware upgrade comes out the full capacity 6GB will be avaliable to you.
