Sling Player in the UK?

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the release of SlingPlayer for S60 will work with phones in the UK. The press release from Sling seems to concentrate on the US but they also released a price for the software in GBP�

Does this mean an end to the "3" monopoly on SlingPlayer over here?

I just ordered my slingbox classic from an ebay shop in UK....hope it works OK with 3G and Wifi...I really need it to use it remotely since I work abroad.
