Case update time

Cases have continued to trickle in for our case roundups. The PDair aluminium hard case has been added to my Nokia E90 case review page and the high end AX-ALEX leather case has been added to my Nokia E61i case review/pimping page.

Read on in the full article.

How can you leave out the best case ever made for the Nokia e61/e61i : the Vaja case ??

I agree. The aluminium case is hideous. What were they thinking? The leather case for the e61i is lovely though. Definately worth going for.

It would be great if more cases came with clip options - put on a clip to hook onto a belt, remove the clip and simple carry the phone in the pocket with the case, etc.

Steve,

Did you ever get one of these for the E90? I'm intrigued!

Which one? All the photos in all the roundups were taken by me, so yes, I've got them all.

In case you're wondering, most of these cases are going into the AAS pub meet door prize pool! So you can examine and win them on the night!

Steve, did you get the Noreve pouch? I received my one yesterday and I think its the best casse for me so far. Thin leather, not too tight and two inner pockets for memory cards/SIM cards. No cut-away at the bottom to help push the E90 up but as the case is not too thight the E90 can be removed with one hand.

At last, a slim-clip vertical case (the Bugatti) 😊
It doesn't meet my spec for a perfect case, but it could be close enough for a stop gap 😉

I'll look forward to seeing it "in the flesh" - your photos make it look very different from the ones on eBay (the leather looks a lot softer in their photos, for instance). They also say that it has a swivel clip, but your photos make it look like a fixed one.

I have to agree with the other posters that the PDair aluminium one looks dreadful.

Re: Noreve - haven't got it yet, but then there's a post strike on 8-(

Re: Bugatti - yes, an almost perfect vertical case. If the belt clip was just a *little* stronger....

Re: Hard case - an acquired taste. I'm still not sure whether it's brilliant or horrendous, but there certainly some design issues, as mentioned in my text.
