Quick question about my N73. Is there a way to stop the date showing on the display screen? I never need to use it and I don't like the way it cuts into my wallpaper.

I dont think so. You could change the clcok to analog from digital as it can look better that way
Yes, there is. The date is only shown in the general profile, in all others its replaced by the profile name.
Make a new profile with the your name (or whatever) as the profile name. When you select it, it will show the profile name instead of the date on the standby screen.
If you really cant stand to have anything there, its somewhat more difficult. The best I can suggest is naming a profile " ." (with spaces to move the full-stop to an unobtrusive position) and blend it into your wallpaper. Careful not to use too many spaces, as it just places "..." at the end.
