On my N70-ME, before formatting my Mem card, i took backup using pcsuite, of my SMS which were on my Mem card. The backup went all ok. Then i formatted my card and restored my backup but hell!! nothing gets restored. Also the log says---Restore log:
Date and time: 10/4/2007 23:33
Data restored from the file:
C:\Documents and Settings\RuCk FuLz\Desktop\bkup\msgs.nbu
The following data was restored to the phone:
- Messages
I opened the file in Notepad and i can view the all sms inside, but why its not getting restored???
Is it so that the pcsuite only backups Phone memory????
Plz guyz help me out, i had over 600 sms on my memory card.
Any other way to recover them???
I have card reader, can i recover using some software???
Try to switch the SMS memory and see what happens.

During backup, phone as well as MMC sms are taken but during restoring, only phone sms are restored.

I managed to explore the .nbu backup file, and inside all my 600 sms are there from my mmc. But not getting restored.

hi plz answer this after u make backup using pcsuite do u find some application are closed and doesn't run like when u try to open contacts or gallery or music player they don't open but they open only after u reboot the phone?
