just making sure ... (route 66 Q)

I have a UK N95 and am off to America soon. Wanted to know, if I have american maps for route 66 then will it work fine in the US or do I need to do something special to make it work ?

yup software and maps are fine. I even searched and put in a couple of places I know I will be going to as favorites.

Im assuming gps loc will take longer ?

Your initial one will take a while, as you'll be a long way from where it thought it was, so it'll need to interogate all sats again. After that though it should be fine.

Yes, assuming you dont have it going on the way there.

However, it will only take longer on the first lock. Locks after that will know your in America.

p.s: Does anyone know the best maps for route 66 mobile for new york region ? I am using EAST.prm right now
