7 digit postcode search - route66

Hi mates

I have 140 MB Britain Maps on n95 but when i enter my post code NR15 1JG to search it gives an error "check your search string".

But

when i updated these maps with 220 MB Britain Maps i was able to search my postcode with out any problem but then route66 started halting and many other nasty problems started so i had to replace these maps with the old ones.

to my money 7 digit postcode search is linked with maps not the software.

and

i have 7.3.545 version of route66.

now

my question is:

Is my assumption right or its just an individual case?
Does any one has these maps issue?
Can any one differentiate between the maps and their compatibility with versions?

The 200Mb Britain map released in 2006 was bugged and caused R66 to crash.
If you get the 2007 version you will get 7 didgit postcode searches without the problems.

There is no postcode data (or any other data) stored in the R66 App itself.
All POI, postcode, and routing info is stored inside the maps themselves.
